Morning Services
On Sunday mornings, St.John's Church meets at two different venues across the parish
10.30am @ St. John's Church, St. John's Church Road
The 10.30am service lasts for 1 hour, and is lively and welcoming. There are musicians, singers, readers and sometimes drama and dance may be included as part of the worship. On the first Sunday of each month, we remain together, for All Age Worship. On all other weeks, children and young people meet together for their own worship and teaching in our halls next door to the church. On the second Sunday of each month, we share Holy Communion together.
There is coffee, tea, cold drinks and biscuits in the hall after the service for those who would like to stay and chat.
9.15am @ Grace Taylor Hall, Lucy Avenue
St. John's Church has grown and multiplied over the years and a congregation of around 20 people meet each week at Grace Taylor Hall. The 9.15am service lasts around 45mins, and always includes a time of teaching, prayer and worship. The Grace Taylor congregation are a sociable bunch and regularly meet together for lunches and coffee mornings.
